Agribusiness Management
Agriculture in the 21st century is a multifaceted and cutting-edge industry ranging from farm production to food processing to retailing. The Agribusiness Management curriculum ,trains students on the fundamentals of business activity, from sales and marketing to international trade.
You will be prepared to succeed in managerial positions in ag and ag-related businesses, including:

Field Crops Technology
Field crops have been driving the North Carolina economy for over a century and currently account for nearly 40% of farm cash receipts. With the growing population, this number is expected to increase while arable land is decreasing. That’s why it is more important than ever to explore new ways to grow more crops with less land.
A major in Field Crops Technology will equip you for any of these potential careers:

• Agriculture Technician
General Agriculture
With a General Agriculture degree, you’ll be ready for a job in any area of agriculture. The degree also offers the opportunity to choose a concentration in Agribusiness Management, Field Crop Production, General Livestock Management, Poultry Management and Swine Management.

Horticultural Science Management
If you’re interested in growing, installing, and/or maintaining ornamental, landscape plants and edibles, The Agricultural Institute provide Horticultural Science Management major is for you. This program provides a foundation of science-based horticultural knowledge while emphasizing artistic and nutritional principles of plant use.

Livestock and Poultry Management
The Livestock and Poultry Management degree is designed for students with an interest in working with various livestock (dairy, beef and swine) and poultry (broiler, turkey and commercial egg) species.
